Mike Fernie is a UK-based content creator and presenter best known for his work with DriveTribe, the automotive media platform co-founded by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. At DriveTribe, Mike became a familiar face thanks to his hands-on engineering projects, curious mind, and ability to make complex mechanical ideas genuinely entertaining. Mike was instrumental in leading the DriveTribe YouTube channel with business sense, bringing sponsors on board and pioneering the way for other YouTube creators and channels to achieve monetisation in more ways than just ad revenue from the platform itself. Mike has literally shaped the environment he now lives and works in.
More recently, Mike has stepped away from DriveTribe to go it alone, launching his own YouTube channel — where he continues to nerd out, teach and explain things with the same enthusiasm that earned him such a loyal following in the first place. If you’ve watched even a handful of Mike’s videos, you’ll know one thing for sure:

Naturally, we picked up on that and reached out to him, we offered to send Mike two flannel shirts as a gift. No obligations, no scripts — just a “try them out and see how we get on” kind of starting point. Because that is how we like to do business, maybe we will see more of a partnership in the future… 👀
