Who Is Nuisance? The Story of Adam Lockwood and His Death-Defying Dives in oğlum’s LIGHT BLUE Flannel

*proud brand moment*

If you’ve been scrolling through Le Parisien’s Instagram feed lately or keeping tabs on the global daredevil scene, chances are you've come across the name Adam Lockwood, better known by his alias: Nuisance.

But who is Nuisance, really?

Meet Adam Lockwood aka Nuisance

Adam Lockwood, a British urban explorer and climber, has made a name for himself defying gravity and authority—one dizzying rooftop at a time. Infamously climbing the The Shard and getting slapped by Jonny Law for his troubles too. Known for scaling some of the tallest buildings and structures across the globe without ropes, he’s part of the elite yet controversial world of urban free climbing. Whether it’s dangling from a crane or hanging one-handed from a skyscraper’s edge, Nuisance’s exploits are not for the faint of heart.

But recently, he took things one step further.

BASE Jumping from the Tallest Building in France Watch here

Yes, he’s just done it again. And this time, he jumped off.

In a move that stunned even seasoned vets of extreme sports, Nuisance BASE jumped from the tallest building in France—making headlines not only in the UK but all over Europe. The moment was most noteably shared by Le Parisien, who saw it fit for their 1 million+ Instagram followers, catapulting Nuisance back into the spotlight after he took some time off it to train in the art of BASE jumping.

Shout out to another close friend of our brand, World Champion BASE jumper Dan ‘The Man’ Witchalls, who has featured many a time on oğlumTV. Dan patiently taught Nuisance in Milua, France. [Which was a pleasure to watch on our video X ROADTRIP PART 1!]

oğlum Flannel in Flight

You might’ve noticed something familiar in those photos and clips: a signature oğlum flannel shirt fluttering in the wind as Nuisance leapt into the Parisian sky. A longtime friend and supporter of oğlum, often wearing our flannels during his climbs, travels, and now, his jumps. Which we are of course absolutely chuffed with!

We don't just make shirts—we make second skins for people who live outside the rules, creating their own path. And if anyone embodies that spirit, it's Nuisance.

Whether he’s climbing the Shard or leaping from cranes, Nuisance doesn’t just wear our flannels—he tests them at altitudes most people can’t even look at without vertigo. Whether you’re one of the BASE family [or like me the author, just like to wear your shirt in the pub] then rest assured these flannels can take it and look good while doing it too.

Why We Back Nuisance

At oğlum, we believe in bold moves. Clear vision. Pushing the limits in the name of pure self-enjoyment, not because of a box ticking exercise. That’s what drew us to Nuisance in the first place. He's not just a thrill-seeker; he’s a reminder of what it means to take risk seriously—yet live unapologetically.

We won’t stick to business norms for the sake of conformity.

Knowing Adam, means knowing the amount of prep and training that goes into his dangerous climbs and now jumps. What appears surface level wrecklessness is actually deep calculated risk in the name of time in 'the zen'.

So when people ask "Who is Adam Lockwood?" or "Who is Nuisance?", the answer is simple:

He’s a modern outlaw. A skyscraper surfer. A BASE jumper with a cause.
And yeah—he’s wearing oğlum.
